Dales Countryside Museum, Hawes tells the story of the Yorkshire Dales and about the life of the people who have lived and worked in the Dales and their contribution in shaping the landscape for thousands of years.
Housed in the old railway station, museum is wheelchair accessible, including the route through the train carriages which hosts wonderful artifacts from a Victorian schoolroom and chapel.
