It is one year since we launched our charity Access the Dales at Ravenseat Farm. Since launching our first hub in April 2022, we have gone from strength to strength, and we are delighted that in April 2023 we have four established wheelchair hubs with a further 3 hubs that are being launched later this year.
We are proud to share a few of the reviews that we have received so far from some of our service users.
A 1st proper 'walk' in open country for 27 years. It may have been only 3+ miles and 500-foot climb with my daughter and Bryn her dog but hopefully it will be a first of more to follow. Many thanks to Debbie and Access the Dales and also to Andrea and Paul for hosting the Hub at Nateby. Thank you again.
David -July 2022
Today we headed to Nateby to Rakehead Farm hiring the amazing TerrainHopper Overlander 4Z. Both Paul and Andrea were amazing and so helpful with the area and my daughter showing her the new lambs.
We had a wonderful 5 hours exploring Nateby, such a beautiful place with great views. The whole process of booking and setting off on the Hopper was so easy and gave me the freedom to be independent instead of the husband pushing me in a wheelchair, can’t wait to hire it again very soon.
Leanne – April 2023
Booked the TGA breeze, the staff at Lister Arms were very helpful and brought the Breeze to our vehicle explained how it worked. We went up to the cove it was wonderful to be out in the Dales feeling the wind in my hair. On return we had an excellent lunch at the Lister Arms and left a donation for Access the Dales. Thank you so much for providing these vehicles.

We have created a new Facebook group page for people to share with us their photographs and to tell us about their adventures. Please take a look and share the link to the group with your friends. We really want to build a community of like-minded people who love the Yorkshire Dales.
To book one of our all-terrain wheelchairs, please have a look at our hubs page here on our website.
